Jeanette Davis Ostrander has been employed by both The Cleveland Institute of Music and the Ithaca college school of Music. Originally from N.E. Pennsylvania, Jeanette grew up on a dairy farm in Le Raysville, PA .
Recently, Jeanette became a teacher intern at the Susquehanna University and accepted a position as the elementary music teacher at the Northeast Bradford school district in Rome, PA.
Jeanette's work as a church organist and music director began at a young age and her most recent position was organist/director at St. Paul's United Methodist church in Ithaca, NY. She was recently the sub-dean of the Ithaca chapter American Guild of Organists and holds the performance portion of the Associate degree from the National AGO.
Jeanette has two grown children, Lillian, a senior at the Ohio State University and William, a sophomore at Ithaca college. In her free time she enjoys playing the organ, gardening and spending time with friends.
