Construction update to Session 7/19/17
(includes updates since last report to Session on 6/13/17)
Construction progress – As of the date of this report the following tasks have been completed since the last update
Phase 1: All complete except for the following rainy day tasks:
ï‚· Ramp in basement from new building basement level to storage area landing (finish Change order #8)
ï‚· Change order #10 (ramp in old boiler pit from new storage landing to old basement level)
ï‚· Replace bricks north side of the building
ï‚· 2 doors and several door knobs
ï‚· Change order #11 (new): Electrical panel for A/C, mounting TVs in Sanctuary/Nursery, Exit sign in Chapel
ï‚· Brick in Gathering hall and Pastor’s office needs to be sealed.
ï‚· Additional outlets in secretary’s and Pastor’s offices.
Phase 2:
ï‚· â…” of basement floor poured
ï‚· First floor trusses and decking complete
ï‚· Main level walls poured
ï‚· Window wells poured
ï‚· Backfill and compaction 50% complete
Phase 2 changes from original plan (cumulative) – The following changes were approved by the construction committee:
ï‚· Underpinning below stone foundation between old/new buildings - $4,185
ï‚· Styrofoam Insulation under basement slab - $9,870
ï‚· Hand made attic trusses to keep 2nd floor storage area as originally planned (est.) - $2,000
Occupancy
ï‚· Occupancy permit received for Sanctuary and Chapel buildings
ï‚· New building occupancy date moved to October 1, with final completion on November 1.
