Construction progress – As of the date of this report the following tasks have been completed since the last update:

Phase 1:

· Lights and switches installed in Chapel, offices, and gathering hall

· New boiler and hot water storage tank installed and active

· Billow room in basement complete

· Storage area in basement complete per defined scope (change order #8 and #9)

· Sheetrock walls and catwalk in organ chamber area complete (still needs painting)

· West walkway connecting gathering hall to Sanctuary widened and secured (still needs finishing)

· All walls and ceilings painted in Chapel building

· Window frames for offices delivered but not installed

Phase 2:

· Ramp in basement connecting new basement to old basement storage area complete except final concrete

· Excavation for new addition complete

· Footers poured for new addition

· ICF blocks installed and filled with concrete for bottom floor of addition

 

Changes approved since last update

· In the boiler pit area of basement, build a concrete ramp bridging the new storage area level up to the original basement level.

 

Phase 1 will be completed the second week of May.  There will be an open house on Sunday May 21st from Noon until 2:00 pm for the final reveal of the renovations in the Sanctuary and Chapel building.  There is limited handicapped parking at the end of the Manse driveway.  Otherwise, there will be parking on the street and a few spots outside the gate in the main lot.
